This was supposed to be a hat for me to wear during the NH winters, but, of course, i am still in a place where a hat like this has little to no use whatsoever. So, i made it smaller, more like kid sized, and it will be one of the first things for sale in Bri's and my new etsy shop [mommysquared]

I have decided not to make anymore of the clay pendants. It's too infuriating, and after all this time that i haven't been able to do them i now find i have no desire to start up again. [It helped that after we moved and i finally got that stuff unpacked, i found that i had to trash more than half because they decided to stick together.]

Other things i've been working on:

some knifty knitter hats. i wanted to do something like bri's buckle cloche's, only as one piece and this is what i came up with. [will be selling both hats, just not sure for how much.] one is for an adult, one is more for a toddler- preteen.

lightweight wool/cotton blend in a light mint green color. nice and soft. stretches out max to about a 22-23 inch circumference head. [pictured on a 19 1/2 mannequin head.]

wool/acrylic blend. more of a winter hat. i'd say max will fit a 21 inch circumference head, but 19/20 more comfortably, though still stretched out. so, toddler to young teen.

7 inches tall/deep, 8 inches wide. Has a removable tray with 4 sections.

i'll post dimensions and prices in the next day or two, but generally it will be 8$ for the smaller ones, 12$ for the larger. [the second down on the left might be 14$ though, because it's much thicker than the rest.]

all the pendants i'd been working on finishing i just had to throw away. apparently my brittle clay problem was NOT a thing of the past. i'm going to have to start hand rolling the clay out again, because it seems likely the pasta machine makes it too thin, and that makes it too brittle. [and i'm uding the largest setting, too.]

p.s. bought keychain thingies, so if anyone wants a pendant to be a keychain instead, well, there ya go. [in fact i'm going to make some two sided pieces of clay too just for keychains. cause i love keychains. even if i never use my keys.]
